Although we were not greeted by fine weather , our moods were not dampened (:Yay !
To kickstart our monthsary , HMS and I decided to satisfy our hunger first before doing some hard-core retail therapy !
After a lot of groaning ( Our stomaches groaned , not us) , we finally decided to have our lunch at Fig&Olive . We chose that restaurant cus I really liked the Brazilian-themed ambience and their set lunches ! So , I had a melted cheese on fish meal because there wasn't much of a choice for someone as picky as me ): HMS had some spicy ketchup chicken thing that came with rice that tasted a lot like nasi briyani . Heh .

Then , we began our hard-core shopping !

He wanted to get speakers for himself walked around the huge mall & eventually found ourselves at Best Denki , staring at some dirt cheap speakers ( 2 speakers + 1 volume adjuster thing for $29.90) . We then tested the quality of the sound & yadayada , only to find that it was SUPER GOOD ! Then , after lots of testing , we got the salesperson to get a new set for him , BUT IT WAS OOS ): How sad , so HMS was so disappointed . Awww ):

Later , as I walked into more shops with him , I came across a ripcurl straw bag that cost $26.50 ! And as you know , being me , I automatically got the salesperson to get a new piece . Call me a spendthrift if you want , cus that's precisely what I am ! But , the good thing was that I only managed to find that one bag and the next I bought was an xs hot pink top from TOPMAN with HMS . =/ Oh yay , I'm also quirky , other than being a spendthrift .My other purchases also include a BEAN (yes , it's a bean bean can really germinate and grow) and a vintage butterfly clip from Daisu .
We played pool ! I'm a pretty darn good player . Teehee ;D Let me know if you'd like to challenge me .

We went to Harbourfront Centre to eat even more food after all the shopping .

Then it was muuuveee time ! Yayness ! I guess it was kind of a respite for HMS because he was "coerced" into shopping with me . Thanks , dear , I really appreciate it (:

& as ya all must've guessed , we watched Coming Soon . It's some spooky Thai thriller where a ghost from a movie keeps gouging people's eyes out (that's why it's rated NC16) because she ASSUMES that they are her children (who died tragically in a fire) . And those who happen to watch that particular movie will die after watching the scene where she was hung to death . Unfortunately , a guy named Shane watched that part of the movie while he was secretly filming the movie ( something that the loan sharks wanted him to do . He didnt do it on his own accord.) so he was haunted by the ghost . But soon after , he realized that he had been going after the wrong person because it was the actress playing the ghost that died and not the ghost herself .
